Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from Kendall Cars Ltd

Our customer’s safety and wellbeing is our top priority. With continued news around coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to personally share the steps we are taking to serve and protect our customers and employees whilst also keeping customers up to date:

Branches that are open for business with reduced hours*:

Guildford & Wimbledon

  • Open 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Open 8am to 12 noon Saturday
  • Closed SUNDAY

Ash & Camberley

  • Open 8am to 12noon Monday to Friday
  • Open 8am to 12 noon Saturday
  • Closed SUNDAY

Branch Temporary Closures starting 31st March 2020

The following branches will closed for vehicle collections until May 2020. You may still return hire vehicles to them and bookings will be monitored remotley:

  • Canterbury,
  • Chertsey,
  • Wandsworth,
  • Leatherhead,
  • New Malden,
  • A3 Robinhood,
  • Woking
  • South Wimbledon

All calls will be diverted to the Wimbledon and Guildford office for the above sites.

CLOSED Sundays – from Sunday 29th March

Starting from Sunday 29th March we shall not open on Sundays at any site. Please collect on the Saturday to cover the Sunday. For returns you will need to return during Sunday or by 8am Monday morning. This is to help reduce staff hours.

Vehicles needed for deliveries?:

We can help provide additional vehicles for deliveries for local companies – pharmaceutical warehouses, courier companies (using OWN insurance), logistics, etc. Please contact your local branch for bookings.

Short term lease options

For businesses that don’t want to renew a long term lease – but need vehicles for staff – we can provide short term flexi lease options without the long term comitment – please contact your local branch or head office for reduced rates.


We are carefully monitoring the situation around the clock and following guidance from the World Health Organization and other health authorities.

Vehicle Cleaning

We’ve always taken seriously the cleanliness of our locations and vehicles, and we know this is more important now than ever. We are implementing additional measures to keep our locations and vehicles clean. Hand Sanitiser is provided for customer and staff use at each site.

Changing/Cancelling Bookings

We look forward to continuing to serve you during this time however we recognise some travel plans may change. We can therefore offer to move your booking to another date in the future without charge. If you wish to cancel your booking you will be charged a third of the cost of the booking unless it is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking being made. Bookings cancelled on the day of collection will lose full payment.

If we have to cancel your booking due to events beyond our control we will attempt to offer you an alternative vehicle or an alternative collection / delivery location or we will provide a full refund.


The wellbeing of our employees is also a top priority. We’re encouraging team members to follow health authority best practices like frequent hand washing, as well as asking them to stay home if they are feeling ill.
