Lloyd Scott’s 3 Peaks Challenge

About Lloyd’s final challenge

Charity fundraiser Lloyd Scott will be taking on his final challenge in October as he takes on the famous 3 Peaks Challenge – dressed in a deep-sea diving suit weighing 130 lbs! Using our 9 Transit Tourneo & 7 seater VW Caddy Maxi for transport and support he will have plenty of room for the deep-sea diving suit.

A veteran of 30 years of fundraising and more than 50 events, Scott famously completed the London Marathon in 2002 in a deep-sea diving suit and other challenges have seen him cycle across Australia on a penny farthing, complete an underwater marathon and walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats dressed as a T-Rex – all of which has helped him raise more than £5m.

Scott will be taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge to summit each of the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scarfell Pike) and Wales (Snowdonia) to raise money and awareness to help disadvantaged and disabled young people, who are battling loneliness and isolation.

The Covid-19 pandemic has left them unable to access the charity’s vital programmes to meet new friends, socially engage and develop a wide range of personal skills.
