Fuel Policy

Fuel

We make sure that if you need to refuel, we pay the cost. A fuel card can be found in your vehicle.

When you use a Kendall Go vehicle, Kendall Go is responsible for the cost of fuel (subject to mileage overage fees that may apply to a reservation – see the Additional Charges Sub-section for further detail), but Members are required to fill up petrol/diesel powered Kendall Go vehicles if the fuel tank drops below one quarter of a tank. We provide you a fuel card for this purpose. If the fuel card is missing or not functioning, Kendall Go will reimburse you for the actual cost of fuel if you pay for it yourself.

Members must, when returning the vehicle, ensure that the tank is at least one quarter full; you will be charged a fee in accordance with the Additional Charges Sub-section if the vehicle is returned with less than one quarter of a tank of fuel. – https://www.kendallcars.com/go/terms/additional-charges/

Kendall Go fuel cards may only be used to fuel Kendall Go vehicles.

Members must ensure that they use the correct fuel when refuelling the vehicle. All Kendall Go vehicles use unleaded fuel. Fuel decontamination costs and any other damage or costs (including roadside assistance or recovery) arising from the use of the incorrect fuel are not limited to the Insurance Excess Fee and are not covered by Kendall Go insurance or a CDW.

In each of our vehicles where you find the key there is also a slot for our fuel card that is registered to the vehicle you currently have on rental.

You will find the pin code for the fuel card on the back of the actual card should you need to refuel. All Kendall Go vehicle take unleaded fuel.

*** Remember the fuel card must go in the slot directly below the slot that has the fob in it. There are 2 card slots and the fuel card must go in the top one only**
